We are a health company, so we think we should act like one.At its fullest expression, Healf redefines what wellbeing means for tens of millions of people.About the roleAs Founding Engineer on the Deeper Engagement team, you will define the technical architecture that makes this possible. You will own the decisions that shape how Healf connects wearable data, behavioural signals, and personalised engagement at scale. This is a 0-to-1 role with direct access to the CTO and founder.What You Will DoDefine and build: the technical architecture for the Deeper Engagement team from the ground upOwn: wearable data integrations, backend APIs, and the mobile experience end-to-endMake the hard infrastructure decisions: stack, data model, and system design choices that will shape the product for yearsPartner with: product and the CTO to translate the engagement vision into a production system that improves continuouslySet the standard: for how the team builds, ships, and iterates as it growsWhat We Are Looking For0-to-1 experience: you have built something meaningful from scratch and understand what that demandsStrong Python backend engineeringReact Native or equivalent mobile development experienceHigh ownership: when a problem is yours, you see it through completelyComfort with ambiguity — you can work from a vision rather than a detailed specNice to HaveWearable or health data integration experience with devices like Oura, Whoop, or GarminConsumer health, fitness tech, or habit-forming mobile product backgroundExperience building systems that personalise based on biometric or behavioural dataThe DealWe ask a great deal of the people who work here.
